This workshop introduces Basic Hawaiian, an innovative, 21st century Hawaiian language, culture and values program, balancing on- and off-line, modern and traditional, individual and small group learning. Using a fun, self-instructional, learner-paced approach, Basic Hawaiian focuses on building conversational skills and cultural foundations the natural way, by learners visiting with and interacting with four virtual Hawaiian characters who share their interest and skills in an easy to understand, enjoyable way.
