MISO Conference 2015

This session is designed to meet and network with other high school E/LA teachers. Discussion will focus on designing a rigorous and relevant E/LA curriculum and will attempt to consider E/LA standards, school-wide expectations, 21st century skills, project/challenge-based learning, scaffolding, digital story-telling, standardized test preparation and related issues. This will be an interactive discussion rather than a formal presentation, and participants should arrive willing to share their own 'best practices'. There will be a laptop computer and monitor so that digital resources may be recommended, shared, demonstrated, and explained as needed.
