Educators can foster success for all students by implementing simple meditation practices in the classroom. A variety of meditation techniques have been shown to reduce student stress, anxiety, and behavioral problems as well as improve focus, concentration, and mental well-being. Presenters will share relevant research findings and guide attendees through techniques such as progressive relaxation, left-brain/right brain integration, mindfulness meditation, concentration meditation, movement meditation, and visualization. You will leave this session with simple but effective tools to benefit your students and yourself.
