Want to connect with other progressive educators from Maui? Have a tech tool that you have been dying to share or learn about? Want to learn more about digital resources available for any grade level or course? Frustrated that we don't have more professional development opportunities on Maui? Then come and learn how to gain access to Hawaii's affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education!
The Hawaii Society for Technology in Education (HSTE) has a Maui chapter and, we have funding to hold Meet and Greets, Tech Talks and a spring EdCamp. Membership is open to all MISO and DOE educators and administrators and HSTE is excited to have a more active presence on Maui this year. HSTE provides valuable resources for any educator who uses digital technology in your daily practice- it's not just for tech directors (although you are invited too!). So, let's get together and grow our network on Maui- who knows, it could lead to even bigger opportunities for you and your colleagues to exchange ideas with other schools and to better connect and serve our students across the island. This year HSTE has assisted neighbor island teachers in attending the Hawaii Educational Leadership Summit, Schools of the Future, the Deeper Learning Conference and the annual International Society for Technology in Education Conference. Don't miss out on an opportunity to grow your community of colleagues and resources.
If you cannot attend this session/stop by the table you can learn more by emailing HSTE Board Member Leigh Fitzgerald at: lfitzgerald@myhta.org
