Kristin taught for eight years in the Massachusetts public schools and for one year in Thailand. She has a passion for working with students from around the world, as well as for integrating a multicultural and global perspective into American classrooms. Before moving to Maui in the fall of 2014, Kristin taught first- and second-grade English Language Learners (ELLs) and was jointly responsible for ESL professional development for the school. She has also volunteered with students in India, Mauritius, Mexico, Hungary, and Costa Rica, and with English teachers in Uzbekistan.
