Art Journaling for Leadership, Personal Growth, and Peace-of-Mind

This workshop introduces the concept of Art Journaling and it’s application for developing creativity and personal leadership, personal growth, and peace-of-mind. Art Journaling is basically the combination of various art techniques and writing. No prior art experience is required! Participants will actively participate in the techniques presented and leave the class with an art journal and supplies to continue documenting their personal journey in. Whether you consider yourself an artist or someone who has zero skills in art, this class is for you. The ideas presented can also be applied with your students or fellow faculty.

“One Man's trash is another man's treasure”. Participants will have the opportunity to create various art work using recycled paper, cardboard, fabric and more. These ideas can then be incorporated within a classroom and used to enhance a variety of lessons across the curriculum.

Alchemy through the Arts: Transformation through Expression (For Art, Music and Drama teachers)
Limited Capacity seats available

This workshop gives Art, Music and Drama teachers an opportunity to meet one another, network, and collaborate on a project with others in their specialty.  Each participant will experience a hands-on art activity with the whole group, followed by a sharing/resources/visions session in her/his specialty.  This is an opportunity for teachers in the arts to meet colleagues, discuss commonalities, visions, practical methods and essential resources.  Please be prepared to share one of your favorite activities, strategies or ideas with your group!  Each small group will be asked to create a product or presentation to share with the large group at the conclusion of the workshop.
